Urban Decay
The Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi, as described in Brainpickings, “connotes a way of living that finds beauty in imperfection and accepts the natural cycle of growth and decay.”
As objects age, it adds on layers of “battle scars” and accumulate what I would term as “character”. Urban Decay celebrate these “battle scars” and “character” exhibited in daily Urban objects.
